Our entire process is unique every time because our clients and commissions are never the same.
We, therefore, take prospective clients to view our commissions in situ; we are grateful to our existing clients for generously offering to open their homes to us.
It is worth noting that it is helpful to be brought in at the early stages of a building project as our designs may have an impact on the fabric of the building.
After a friendly phone call to discuss your prospective project, Nathan will arrange to visit you.
We recognise the trust you put in us by inviting us into your home and introducing us to your family. You can be assured that we will respect this trust, act with discretion and consideration, and thereby build a genuine rapport.
After many years working with happy clients, Nathan has built up considerable knowledge to identify the most beneficial questions to ask and where to direct focus to ensure that together we arrive at your dream design.
Being in your home, where you are at your most relaxed and comfortable, Nathan is able to pick up on subtle cues. He listens and pays close attention. This approach is more organic.
You may wish to provide us with some aesthetic direction or prefer to leave this entirely to us. It’s all about finding your true bespoke.
Looking beyond the obvious, Nathan begins to design from an abstract standpoint. The design comes into focus in a very natural way. Everything designed is the result of a decision that is made for you. This leads to unexpected, original and truly personal design concepts.
When we meet again to present our ideas, drawings and initial samples, you begin to imagine your own bespoke design coming to life.
With further development meetings, we finalise the details: colours, finishes, materials, wall coverings, lighting and more. To meet all your specific needs we “talk through more detail than (you) imagine”.
Once you’re delighted with the design, Nathan takes precise measurements so that we can begin production.
Our makers are genuine artisans, combining the use of modern, precision machinery and technology while maintaining a strong, traditional, handmade approach.
Our installation is a continuation of the making process; expertly considered, handcrafted and finished with meticulous attention to detail.
We are sympathetic and respectful to our surroundings and have developed a way of working to ensure the least possible disruption to our clients’ households.
